SPAKCCU

About SPAKCCU

The St. Paul Catholic Church, Kpehe Co-operative Credit Union Limited was established on April 1, 2005, with the vision of providing financial empowerment and promoting a culture of savings and mutual support within the parish community.

Inspired by the initiative of Very Rev. Fr. Francis Adoboli and supported by a dedicated Interim Management Committee, the Credit Union was built on the principles of cooperative enterprise—democratic governance, community participation, and economic solidarity.

Over the years, with guidance from the Ghana Co-operative Credit Union Association (CUA), the Union has grown steadily through the sacrifice and dedication of parishioners and volunteers. It has expanded its services beyond the parish to include members from the surrounding Accra Newtown area.

Despite challenges, including limited office space and loan defaults, the Union has remained resilient, achieving consistent growth in membership, savings, assets, and investments. Through the support of committed leaders and volunteers, and now a permanent management team, we continue to offer reliable financial services aimed at improving the lives of our members.

The Kpehe Credit Union is proud of its legacy and remains steadfast in its mission to serve as a beacon of financial hope and Christian unity.
